Baxi Group has teamed up with the NETA Training Group in Stockton-on-Tees to provide a wide range of training courses for installers in the North East of England. The ceremony to open the new Baxi Group Training Suite was attended by Frank Ramsay NETA Chief Executive, Tom Gray, NETA's Gas Co-ordinator, Steve Owen, Baxi Group National Training Manager, and other representatives of Baxi Group and NETA.
Baxi Group provided a selection of domestic heating products to furnish the newly refurbished training facilities. Steve Owen said: "NETA has provided training in skills for the gas industry for almost 20 years. We are delighted to be associated with an organisation that has such expertise, experience and reputation.
"By working in partnership with NETA, we can bring training much closer to our installers in the North East.”
Tom Gray added: "At NETA, we are totally committed to delivering relevant, practical training to the gas industry, and consider our partnership with Baxi Group to reflect that dedication to excellence.”
Set up in 1975 as a charitable group training association, NETA provides quality training for engineering construction companies in the region. It boasts a string of accolades; it was the first Centre of Vocational Excellence for Engineering Construction and was the first independent training centre in the North to achieve the new Training Quality Standard.
There are eight Baxi Group training centres located across the UK. For more information on the courses offered or to find your nearest training centre, please visit the Training pages on this website.
