The new Potterton Promax HE Store has an integrated hot water storage cylinder and SEDBUK Band A rated high efficiency boiler in one compact, floor standing unit. It has been designed to fit in a standard airing cupboard.
Fully modulating from 6.8kw to 24kW, and available with either 90, 115 or 150 litre cylinders, the Potterton Promax HE Store is suitable for almost any size of dwelling, particularly where there is a large demand for hot water.
As the boiler is positioned on top of the hot water cylinder, less pipework than a traditional system is required, and this limits heat loss from the pipes, further improving the energy efficiency of the system.
The unique cold water inlet spreader ensures that the cylinder delivers the full volume of stored water without loss of stratification. Operating a domestic hot water priority system, the Potterton Promax HE Store heats water up to 70 per cent quicker than a traditional boiler, taking only 30 minutes for the largest cylinder.
Based on proven, reliable Potterton technology, the Promax HE Store is supplied in two sections that are easily reassembled during installation. A unique roller system and a range of fluing options for versatile siting also make the new boiler easy to fit.
Additional features include integral frost protection, a pump exercise programme to prevent pump seizure and an optional integrated 3kW immersion heater back up. It also has user-friendly adjustable controls for the central heating and domestic hot water, LED operating status display and a seven-day electronic timer.
