Leading boiler manufacturer Potterton has launched the Promax Combi 24 HE Plus, a 24kW boiler designed for smaller households.
Committed to meeting the differing needs of the modern household, Potterton has designed and developed the Promax Combi 24 HE Plus to be suitable for small families and single people, who now make up over a quarter of all households in the UK and have a lower demand for hot water. The boiler can modulate down to meet heat requirements from 6.8kW up to 24kW.
SEDBUK Band A rated, the Potterton Promax Combi 24 HE Plus offers superior fuel efficiency of 90.5 per cent and ultra low NOx emissions (Class 5+ rating in the EcoHomes scheme). The high efficiency boiler offers homeowners a 35 per cent fuel saving compared to an old existing boiler, and a 15 per cent fuel saving against a new conventional boiler.
Designed with the installer in mind, the Potterton Promax Combi 24 HE Plus has a low lift weight of just 44kg, which makes installation easier. An additional installer-friendly feature is the built in pipework connections, while a separate installation jig allows these to be fitted without the boiler in situ.
The push fit connections of the Multifit self sealing flue system reduces installation time and eliminates the need for mechanical joints or mastic sealant. The concentric flue system allows maximum flue lengths of up to 20m horizontally or vertically and twin pipes up to 15m.
Throughout the development of the Promax Combi 24 HE Plus, Potterton involved installers, specifiers and service engineers to ensure that the boiler offers more straightforward installation, service and maintenance. All components are accessible from the front while fault diagnostic codes are standard.
