Described as "outstanding” by the judges, Invicta Building Services Ltd has received the H&V Award for 'Domestic Heating Contractor of the Year' for the second consecutive year. Invicta Domestic Operations Director, Danny Tickner, was presented with the prestigious accolade by Steve Zouch, Commercial Director for Potterton who sponsored the category, and comedian Rob Bryson, who hosted the ceremony.
According to the judges, Invicta's "carbon neutral policy, excellent design standards, good communication and community integration along with strong research and training” were excellent. They were also impressed with the company's "high customer satisfaction levels and good use of the title awarded last year”.
Danny Tickner said: "We are so proud to have received this award for the second year running, especially as the other entries were so strong. The underpinning ethos of the company is one of communication and working together to ensure that our focus is always on providing the best possible service for our client and the end user.
"In addition, we have recognised the growing concerns regarding the environment and have developed an effective environmental policy to which we are committed at all levels.
"I think that the company's dedication to continual development in all areas of the business is key to our success,” adds Danny.
Invicta is based in West Peckham, Kent. Its main business is refurbishing central heating, kitchens and bathrooms to bring social housing in line with the Decent Homes standard. It also carries out work in the private sector and is accredited to carry out solar installations.
