Gas Certification Company Ltd, of Blantyre near Glasgow, has moved to new premises. The well equipped facilities now include a brand new Baxi Group training suite that offers installers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience on all Baxi Group domestic boilers.
Established in 1997 by George and Elaine Loudon, Gas Certification Company is conveniently placed close to the motorway network for installers and contractors in Scotland and beyond. The centre offers a wide range of courses including domestic, commercial and catering; natural gas, LPG and oil; unvented and electrical.
It will soon be offering an accredited solar thermal course; Baxi Group has provided a Baxi Solarflo solar thermal hot water system for the centre, and local heateam senior engineer William McCluskie will be on hand to help install it.
George Loudon explains why the company has been so successful. "This is a small family business and we pride ourselves on the standard of service and equipment we provide for our customers. During assessments when nerves are running high, we take every care to make the atmosphere as relaxed as possible.
"Many of our customers come back, time after time, to be reassessed and to get up to date with new products and legislation. Our partnership with Baxi Group means we can work together to provide installers with hands-on experience of the latest products. And we can help them add to that knowledge with advice on the best product to specify, where to install it and how to sell it.”
